Privacy Policy
InvoiceFast is built so your invoices and clients stay on your computer. This page explains what we do collect on the website, and what the desktop app does not send us.
Who we are
InvoiceFast is a desktop invoicing app sold at invoice.fast. Questions about this policy go to contact@invoice.fast.
Desktop app data
Invoices, clients, expenses, logos, and PDFs are stored in a local SQLite database on your machine. We do not host that data and we cannot read it.
The app only reaches the internet when you choose to: fetching live exchange rates, and checking whether a newer version is available. Those requests do not include your invoices or client records.
License activation uses your license key and a device identifier so the key can be used on a limited number of computers. That is handled by our licensing provider, not stored in your invoice database.
This website
The marketing site at invoice.fast uses DataFa.st for privacy-oriented analytics (pages visited, referrer, country, device). It is loaded with a site ID for invoice.fast. We use this to see which pages are useful.
We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure ads and understand which visits come from Meta advertising. Meta may set cookies or similar identifiers and combine that with data it already has about you. You can control this through your Meta ad settings.
Purchases are processed by Polar. Payment details (card numbers, wallet accounts) go to Polar and their payment processors, not to us. Polar will have the name, email, and order information needed to complete checkout and issue your license. See Polar's own privacy policy for how they handle that data.
The free browser tools (invoice generator, late-payment calculator, VAT calculator) run in your browser. We do not save the amounts, names, or invoices you type into those tools.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not require an InvoiceFast account to use the desktop app after you have a license key.
How long we keep it
Analytics aggregates are kept as long as we use DataFa.st to understand the site. Purchase records are kept as long as needed for licenses, refunds, accounting, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete any personal data we hold by emailing contact@invoice.fast.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, or to object to how it is used. Email contact@invoice.fast and we will respond. This does not affect data that only exists on your computer inside InvoiceFast.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page.
